Augmented City - Visualizing loss of Biodiversity
Yi Lin Zeng2025 - Mixed Realities and The Built Environment
As an urban ecological explorer, I traveled the world with a map, compass, and backpack, collecting photogrammetry of native species that once inhabited the intersection of 13th Street and 14th Street, between University Place and 5th Avenue. Through this project, I invite the community to craft and collage their own imagined environments engating with these past “residents” of the land. The web experience introduces each species in detail, highlighting their ecological significance and where they can be found today.
