Bittersweet Bildungsroman
This Rube Goldberg machine is a carefully crafted, whimsical chain reaction that humorously delivers the weight of my childhood trauma—frequent, dreaded visits to the dentist for cavity fillings and tooth extractions. It serves as a metaphor for a Bildungsroman—a coming-of-age story about learning to take responsibility, confronting pain, and embracing self-reflection.
